The weather was perfect and the wine was fine on Saturday July 1, 2000, when Diane and I invited our friends Paula and John to join us for a picnic at the Oasis Vineyard located in Hume, Virginia, about an hour's drive from Herndon. Here are a few photos I took at the Oasis and then afterwards, at Sky Meadows State Park in Paris, Virginia in the foothills of of the Blue Ridge Mountains.
