I did it! On May 16 2002, after seven long years taking one or two courses a semester at George Mason University (GMU), I finally completed my Bachelor of Individualized Studies (BIS) degree in Multimedia Technologies! Forgive me for my vanity, but since GMU did not formerly recognize my academic accomplishment in earning a 4.0 G.P.A. during the New Century College convocation ceremony, I would like to announce it to you, my family and friends. Below are a few digital
pictures of my graduation day.
My view from the "W" section amongst my fellow 300 New Century College graduatesa small portion of the more than 4000 students who are graduating from GMU in 2002.

The commencement announcer who happened by offered to take a picture of me and the person who made this all possiblemy wife and best friend, Diane.
I captured this picture of Diane and me out on our back deck Saturday afternoon, May 18. Immediately after, we drove off to attend the Second Chance Prom held at the Metro Center Marriott in Washington D.C. This event put on by a local Washington D.C. radio station, MIX 107.3, featured live music performed by the Jack Diamond's band, Jack Diamond being the radio station’s morning show host. Diane and I had a blast dancing the night away in celebration of my graduation. |
